Mobile Smart City is proud to announce that it has entered into an agreement with Ferris State University to provide the PANGO app as their mobile payment solution. “We are very excited to be expanding our footprint in Michigan, and looking forward to working with another University to provide its students with a seamless customer experience,” stated John J. PANGO users will have a smoother experience because they will be able to manage their parking experience using their cell phone. Parkers will be able to pay for parking with credit and debit cards, PayPal or Venmo, however they will also be able to use their Ferris State Student ID Card “Bulldog Bucks,” which has been integrated into the PANGO platform. The app combines contactless payments with alerts that can be received by text or email.
PANGO is available for both iPhone and Android cell phones, it can also be accessed from a mobile web browser. To pay for zone parking using the mobile or the web browser, the parker must enter the zone number, posted on signs around the university parking spots, selects the payment method and the license plate of the vehicle you want to park, and start the session. The parker can also extend the time of the parking session on their mobile device.
